It’s officially summer (though its felt like it for some time). The kids are out of school and the mercury is rising. What type of plans do you have? Many people will have planned to take vacation or other trips during the summer months. The congregation here at Arnold is no different. We have many activities planned. I have outlined those below, please take opportunities every day and pray for the success of these endeavors

More years ago than this writer wants to admit, a call was received to come and speak at a youth camp in Southeast Missouri. The invitation was accepted and my wife, children, and I made the trek to Bootheel Youth Camp one Thursday evening in June. The talk went well and a good time was had by all. Unbeknownst to me, while there, as I was looking around, the director, my Uncle Vernon, was showing my wife the “craft shack” and the various things the campers were doing.

This past month, I spoke on the different titles Jesus carried in the Bible and how we can apply the implications of those titles to our Christian life. This week, I want us to consider other aspects of our Lord that we can gain much knowledge from: His attitude, His disposition, and His mind.
