What wonderful blessings we all have in Christ! We are never short of wonderful opportunities that the Lord has provided and the last few weeks are no exception. Certainly our cup runneth over. There were two groups of Christians who went into the world to save the lost and strengthen the weak.
Prayer is one of the greatest blessings for a Christian. Jesus died to tear the veil so that we might have the ability to approach the Father (Mat 27:50-51). For us to speak to God and for Him to listen to us is a benefit of faithfulness (Is 59:1-2). As Christians, we are to have a close relationship with God. It is impossible to have any sort of relationship to someone you never speak to. That’s why prayer is so vitally important to the life of a Christian.
What a week we had at Bootheel Youth Camp! An entire week packed full of singing, great lessons from outstanding speakers, fun games, great food, and we cannot forget about the new addition to our family, Bradon Bass, who was baptized into Christ! If all the campers and staff had as great a week as I did, what a blessing and we are already looking forward to next year
In Matthew 13 Jesus sat down by the seaside, and with a great multitude assembled before Him, started speaking – “Behold, a sower went forth to sow…” (vs. 3). Long story short, when He got done His disciples just didn’t get it.
