The Arnold congregation is blessed beyond measure. As I look around, it is evident that our spiritual cup surely runneth over! We are given so many opportunities to study God’s word (and are thankful for the great Gospel meeting taking place this week)! We engage in evangelism on a local, national, and global scale every year. We are also supporting many works and individuals through means of benevolence.
Your response to this title question may seem obvious. Most people would answer a resounding “Yes”, if asked this question. Some might say, “Well, I hope to someday.” A similar question might be, “Do you want to go to heaven?” Again the answers might vary depending on the person being asked.
Did you know that Facebook is the number one social media site and that this one website alone has 900,000,000 different users every month! Twitter is the number two social media site and it has 310,000,000 different users every month! Others trail these social networks closely such as LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google Plus. I think it is clear to say that a lot of people in our world are involved in social media to some extent. As Christians, it is important to be aware of some dangers of these sites but also know how to use them as an evangelism tool. If these sites are where people are spending a great amount of time, why not give them something spiritual to read while they visit them.
What is the most important thing in your life? The answer to that question should be God and your relationship with Him. The real question is what are we doing to improve that relationship? What are we actively doing to grow closer to God?
