Even though it feels like it’s January with the cold and snow of last week, it’s only the third Sunday of November! That means that Thanksgiving is this Thursday! It is often the case that we are reminded to stop and take time to be thankful for the blessings of this life. That is what we should do, not just on Thanksgiving, but also on every day of the year! However, today, let us take a moment to be thankful for Thanksgiving itself.
When a ‘Will’ is read, something along the lines of “being of sound mind and body” is included in the introduction. Not being of sound mind can make that ‘Will’ void in some cases. When this word “sound” is used, the understanding is that everything is okay. In the case of the person making the ‘Will’, then, it means that they knew what they were doing and that the ‘Will’ is good to be administered as written.
It is crazy to think that Haley and I have been married for a year, but it has been a great first anniversary to say the least! This past month we spent a week on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama sightseeing, eating fresh seafood, and catching crabs. It sure is a blessing to be able to spend time enjoying God’s breathtaking creation. I mean, talk about gorgeous sunsets!
