We have all said the title word before. Maybe in the context of something that you had not seen before. Or perhaps it was said in the heat of an argument to someone close to you. Maybe something like, “You never listen to me” or “You never appreciate the things I do”.

Most counselors and marriage therapists will tell you not to use the words “always” and “never” in an argument. The statements are seldom true. In fact, it is hard to find anything that “never” applies to in this world. So many possibilities exist for a lot of things to occur.

However, there are some things that will never happen. And one can be assured of these things not happening. If these statements are true, some questions may come to your mind. For example, what things are you speaking of and how can one be assured they can never occur? Well, the first thing one has to establish when hearing any statement is the validity of the source. Is it an accurate one and is it verifiable?
The things that I will suggest to you that can never happen are:

1. God will never change
2. His Word (the Bible) will never go away

How can these statements be verified? The Bible has been proven to be true and accurate in many ways. Although not a science book, it has been shown to be 100% accurate scientifically. It is not a geography book, but again has proven itself to be accurate. And the list goes on and on.

The prophets making prophecies that come true in exact detail hundreds of years later, is another example of the inspiration and validity of the scriptures.

So when Malachi writes in chapter 3 and verse 6, “I the Lord do not change” and when Isaiah writes in chapter 40 and verse 8, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of God stands forever,” it can and should be believed.

In this world of uncertainty and doubt, there is a constant and authoritative God of heaven. He loves you and sent His Son to die for you. Will you not believe this?

God has shown His love for mankind, for you. Will you not show love for Him in return by being obedient to Him? He is waiting for you every day to decide. But one day He has promised to end this world and send Jesus to claim His own. Then everyone will be judged for all they have done. Be ready. Never doubt the God of Heaven.
