Sometimes things don’t work out the way you plan. “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content” (Phil 4:11). Paul got it right. sometimes we have to learn to be content, regardless of our circumstances.
Word games, board games, tag, tennis, softball, football, these and more are all games this writer grew up playing. Along with a host of other types of games, checkers, chess, and a domino game called 42 or Texas 42, as it was originally created in that state.
The first month of 2018 has come and gone. Many of you may have made some decisions to change your behavior in some way. Hopefully, those decisions were made to improve your life. Whether it was an attempt to make changes for physical well being or spiritual, the first month is gone. So, how did you do? Are you maintaining the choices you made?
Social media is great; except when it’s not. There’s Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, and all the new apps that have been developed since I wrote this article! They’re everywhere and we have access to them all the time. Computers, tablets, smart phones, smart watches. Sometimes we don’t use these smart devices very smartly.
